Paraquat, hysical and chemical properties:
Paraquat dichloride forms colourless,hygroscopic crystals, decomposing at 300°C, v.p. negligible. Solubility , easily 0soluble0 in0 water, slightly soluble in short-china alcohol,practically insoluble in most other organic solvents.stability stable in neutral and acidic media, but readily oxidized in alkaline media. Tech salts are corrosive to common metals.
